Jessica Simpson has denied reports he is "freaking out" about the commitment of her ex-husband Nick Lachey 'to his girlfriend of four years.
In a radio interview, Simpson said his romance with Lachey was over long ago and was happy he found a new love affair with television presenter Vanessa Minnillo.
"I'm very very happy for him. Don''t I know where the rumors come from," the New York Post would have said.
"Our relationship was over a very long time, so it would be nice if everyone could happen to us and really just celebrating the love between him and Vanessa.
"I really wish them all the best," he said.
Simpson and Lachey filed for divorce in December 2005.
